Context
Our Client was a subsidiary of a National Building Contractor which specialises in Hotel Development
The Challenge
With 8 weeks to completion our client experienced poor productivity and focus by the appointed electrical contractor. We were asked to survey the outstanding works, and produce a report for action.
Solution
We produced a completion and commission programme highlighting critical path items working towards the handover date.
Organise weekly sub-contractor progress meetings and monitor any approved programme.
We were able to identify, clear bottle necks and increase productivity
All but 2 of the 11 story hotel has handed over on time including conference and leisure areas.
The electrical contractor went into liquidation 2weeks before completion and we engaged a local contractor to complete the project.
